Issues with the new iPad stirs debate

While the new iPad is Apple’s hottest selling device ever, don’t throw away your previous iPad cases and covers just yet. While rave reviews of the device’s unrivalled high-resolution display prompted sales of over three million units since its launch on March 16, some issues are generating negative publicity for the new iPad—and more importantly, irritating many customers.

The same fans who waited in line for the precious new iPad and rushed to buy iPad 3 cases and covers are now complaining about the tablet's heating issues. Reports state that the new iPad heats up to 47 degree celsius while its predecessors only reached 39 degree celsius. While some consider this to be a minor problem, others weigh it much more heavily.

Next, a problem occurred with some smart covers and iPad 3 cases and covers, which were not functioning as well as they should have with the new device. This issue also may seem minor to some, though we know that many consumers have come to rely on the protection as well as the multiple functionalities provided by iPad cases and covers.

You would think the impressive features of the iPad 3 would outweigh the complaints, but they don’t—especially considering that the new iPad battery meter is reported to be inaccurate and, at times, faulty. Research recently performed confirmed that even when a 100 percent charge is indicated, the new tablet batteries do not reach 100 percent, and may need up to an extra hour before the charging is done. Again, it’s a good thing many customers didn’t get rid of their older devices and original iPad cases and covers.

The same research also claimed that even though the charge indicates 100 percent, the new iPad’s battery is actually only 90 percent charged—this means the user would get 1.2 hours less running time. While this doesn’t exactly mean Apple users are jumping ship, trading in their iPad 3 and accessories for the android tablet coupled with android cases, the negative publicity may discourage those with competitors’ tablets from making the switch.

The new iPad 3 boasts considerably more powerful battery than the original iPad and iPad 2 (it went from a 25-watt-hour lithium-ion battery to a 42.5-watt-hour battery). Apple executives refuted the problems by explaining that the killer new features, especially the retina display, uses up a lot of power. While Apple strives to develop a solution for the battery issues, new users can keep their new device fully charged plugging it in a bit longer than usual or overnight, and if Android tablet users don’t want to take a risk, they can funnel that disposable income into accessories for their current device and some flashy new Android cases.

It’s all about the new iPad

The highly anticipated new iPad has over-delivered with its amazing array of features and improvements—likewise prompting the production of a multitude of iPad 3 cases and covers and other fundamental accessories. Probably the most visible upgrade is the significant increase in clarity—movies, photos and the general interface are clearer by leaps and bounds.

The 2048 x 1536 true HD "Retina Display," displays 3.1 million total pixels—that’s one million more pixels than an HDTV. This feature offers even more incentive to buy an iPad 3 case as soon as possible. Protecting the framework of this incredible display is an absolute priority—the display features 44 percent greater saturation of colors than the iPad 2. It’s truly a whole new level of visibility.

Other features that increase the value of the new iPad (and warrant the immediate purchase of iPad 3 cases and covers) include improved front and rear cameras, the same 10-hour battery life, and a dual-LED backlit system that makes the screen noticeably much brighter. In addition, Apple solved past issues with fast battery consumption and heat dissipation, making usage more stable and efficient.

Other new improvements include a tremendous boost in memory. Memory has been literally doubled from 512MB to 1GB. The sleek new image the iPad 3 conveys has executives lining up for leather iPad cases and covers to show off their amazing tablet and portray their own personal success.
Pricing by both AT&T and Verizon for the new iPad has made different plans for the 4G LTE models extremely accessible—and at Poetic, we’ve got the best selection of skins, even leather iPad cases and covers, at very affordable prices. What we’ve discovered after researching the available plans is that AT&T users receive 250 MB of data at $14.99 a month, 3 GB for $30 a month, and 5 GB for $50 a month. Verizon Wireless sells 1 GB at $20 a month, 2 GB at $30 a month, and 5 GB for $50 a month.

The amazing new iPad has buyers everywhere lining up for the new device and clamoring to do the following immediately after: buy iPad 3 case, download apps and start playing!

The iPad 3 is here

Get your iPad cases and covers ready, because at 8 a.m. this Friday, March 16, Apple will finally release its latest upgrade. The much-awaited device, called “the new iPad,” is expected to cause unprecedented foot traffic at stores across the world. As purveyors of the best iPad cases, we are already received an unparalleled amount of inquiries regarding Apple’s newest gadget.

The new iPad will be offered in two different models: a version with Wi-Fi and 4G LTE capability, as well as a Wi-Fi only edition. Apple will sell only the Wi-Fi models at each of its 362 Apple Stores worldwide, while Verizon Wireless and AT&T will sell only the 4G LTE model. It’s expected that most major retailers will sell the Wi-Fi models as well. Regardless of which model our customers buy, we already can see the demand for leather iPad cases and covers to add to the status of this new, high-end device.

Pre-orders for the new iPad have already sold out at retailers like Radio Shack—explaining the demand we’ve experienced for new leather iPad cases and covers. It appears that if you haven’t pre-ordered the new tablet, you will need to stand in line if you want a new iPad on day one. If not, you’ll have to wait a few weeks to receive it. Luckily, we have lots of iPad cases in stock, so that our customers won’t have to wait for protection for their new device as well.

If you don’t want to stand in line or camp out with Apple fanatics, you may want to try some of the major retailers like Best Buy, which will most likely have the greatest number of tablets in comparison to other stores (except for Apple stores, of course). Target and Sam’s Club also plan to sell the new iPad on Friday, though it is unknown whether they will sell Wi-Fi-only models or 4G LTE ones as well. Neither store is accepting pre-orders, but the lines will be less chaotic than the Apple stores. That gives you a little extra time that day to find those leather iPad cases and covers you’ve been coveting.

iPad Demand Continues to Grow

The rumor mill has kicked into high gear as Apple’s iPad event is set to take place on March 7. Users of this uber popular device are preparing their to-do lists in the following order: buy new iPad 3, protect iPad with a new case and browse iPad accessories. According to a report published last week, approximately one-third of mobile web users plan to buy an iPad 3.

Just like when the iPad 2 was released, Apple is not leaking any official news about the upgrade. Despite the lack of information, fans flocked to buy their new devices and iPad cases—it’s certain they’ll do the same this time. With little info about the next iPad’s features, the speculation is exciting users and potential buyers—those who indicated they would buy competitors’ tablets are now considering buying the iPad 3 instead. Even those who once purchased our stellar android cases for their devices are thinking about switching to the Apple team.

Here’s why iPad fans are so ready to line up for their new devices and replacements for their iPad 2 cases and covers—it’s thought that the next iPad will feature a high-resolution “Retina Display,” backed by a more powerful processor. Many have heard that the new device will also have Siri, Apple’s “digital personal assistant.” According to the news report, the promise of these new features is increasing appeal across all cellphone users in general.

The other findings this report shared were that many are considering buying an iPad or iPad 2 at a reduced price instead. Here at Poetic we believe that theory, as our iPad 2 cases and covers are continuing to sell at a rapid rate. Either way, we’ll satisfy demand by continuing to provide the best iPad cases and covers on the market.
